Online Training Videos Will Help You Master This Necessary Skill Today. So Why wait?
Tuesday, 7:05PM From: The Desk of Glenn Brooke To: Bible Teachers and Students Hungry to Understand More!
My grandfather - a wonderful man, though naïve about many things - used to say, "If English was good enough for Jesus Christ, it's good enough for me."
He probably thought Jesus opened his mouth and red-letter King
James English came out. I'm sure you know that Jesus didn't speak in
English! The original languages for the Bible are Hebrew and
Greek.
We
have wonderful translations of the Bible available today, but if you
aren't doing basic word studies in the original languages, then there
is a whole range of Bible study that's still open to you. Plus
your students will benefit too, as they get an expanded understanding
of the meaning.
(Sure,
you can repeat what you read in the commentary or study notes.
But that's like telling them about food under glass, when they're
hungry for meat!)
What
can you do if you don't have a seminary degree, or have time to take
classes? Or if there is no one around who can teach you?
You could buy expensive (and complicated) computer
software. You've probably seen the ads. They practically say
things like "If you use the all-new Super-Duper BibleMaster 2008, you
won't even need to think because it will tell you what to believe and
your Bible study preparation will be a snap."
But you know better than that, don't you? Let's back up just a moment and give you the full picture, because it is not just about "the software." There Are Four Facts You Need to Know
1. Bible teachers like you should be studying original word meanings.
2. You
need a realistic, repeatable strategy for looking them up,
understanding what's going on, and staying out of trouble.
3. You
don't need a seminary class to be effective. (I'm not knocking seminary
classes, ok? But Bible teachers don't need a seminary class to
learn how to do Hebrew and Greek word studies.)
4. Computer software helps - but you can use FREE software to get the job done.
Bottom Line : You Need Coaching on the Process and the Software
Just to be clear: this coaching here is not
the equivalent of seminary training in Hebrew and Greek. But you
don't need that to increase the level of your Bible teaching
capability. The foundational word look-up strategies you need are
well within your reach. (I've taught this to dozens of Bible
teachers, so I've developed a very quick way to present just what you
need to know, without a lot of fluff.)
I'm going to show you how to use FREE software to do this work. You won't need to purchase anything else.
If
you already own software for looking up original language word
meanings, this instruction will very easily translate to other
software. You'll learn principles, not just software commands.

Total
video time is 43 minutes. You'll get immediate access to the
videos online, and can watch on almost any computer. You'll be

You don't need seminary classes in Greek and Hebrew to be effective at basic word studies.
You do need some coaching (especially in the limits of this approach - it's powerful, but far too many Bible teachers get this wrong)
You don't need a big pile of reference books and dictionaries, or expensive computer software.
You do
need someone to walk you through the process. Computer software makes
everything FAST - but there are so many options that you can easily get
confused.
That's why this video instruction is so powerful.
With
these videos you'll be able to look up Hebrew and Greek word meanings,
too. Now, let me take all the risk out of this for you... |
